let's get real

Cherish the moments in the moment. Live in the present and make the most out of life. Let's be the best ourselves can be and prove people wrong. Let's be happy inside for all the good things we've done and remember how you felt. And let's do those things more often so you can feel that happiness more often. Let's keep on moving and thinking and reading and humming and wondering and traveling and pondering and running and keeping on keeping on. Moving is being blessed with health. Thinking is thinking of words in your head and writing them down. Reading is your eyes going across letters that mean so much to you and impact you. Humming is the song stuck in your head and letting it ring silently, but karaoke version. Wondering is going places and enjoying the earth. Traveling is planning and experiencing and viewing with your own eyes. Pondering is the thoughts that first come to your head and then making up an ending to them. Running is the energy and power of following through with goals and being proud of yourself.  Choose and not let others choose for you. I mean let's get real here. Just be you.

remembering endlessly

A lot of small things come to mind when remembering memories. And a lot of big things do too but those never leave my mind.

Summer. What a time summer is. Warm air, warm sky's, warm sun, warm body's. Remembering summer, comes back to me when there were always long drives putting my head out the window feeling the hot breeze that makes my hair messier than before and trying to high five my friend on the other side of the car which never works but we still always try.

Short notice road trips with friends and family that are the best trips ever. Rope swings that brought so much adrenalin which made it 100 times more harder to do it.
Boating from when the sun rises till it goes down.

All the freckles on my skin that looked like the stars in the sky. Long nights adventuring and planning the next night to do the same. Star gazing at the constilations thinking of what earth has to offer and our minds thinking too much outside of he box to confuse ourselves and then just stop thinking about space and the stars.

Swimming till my toes and fingers look like raisins and always staying in the pool even longer after noticing. Late night tennis tournaments. Early morning volleyball games. Sno cones that turn my hand into a rainbow. Tan skin and tight muscles from all the hikes that were endless. Camping trips that gave me a six pack from laughing nonstop.

It was all then. Leaving those summer memories in that summer. And planning the new ones to come. But always remembering the old ones.

who am I?

This class has taught me more about myself. I have been able to express my feelings and opinions on certain topics.  I think we all have to think outside of the box to stand out and show people who we truly are. What I am most passionate about is making sure everyone is loved and has a friend. That's really important during teenage years because it can be rough.
If you know me you know I love athletics, mostly tennis and running. I love Photography so I can capture memories and special moments. Exploring to different places with friends and family is always my favorite thing to do. I think seeing the world and different cultures is so important for everyone to experience and being able to serve.  I love the outdoors and cool places that I can ponder at and take in this amazing and gorgeous world. Never giving up is an important saying I keep in mind.
I love all the opportunities I have experienced and thinking of the future is so exciting. I love knowing that everyone in my life is here for a reason and is making me who I am today. All of this is what makes me, me.

And who is Audrey June?.....

It is me, Madeline Glasgow

thinking of music

Music is the sound in my ears that I never want to leave. it's the memories that come rushing back reminding me about all those old times.  It's the changing of moods depending what you're listening to. It's the emotion that comes out of you to show people how you feel. It's the location where you are or where you are going. It's what you listen to so that you forget about things. Music can control your mind, of what you're thinking or feeling. It's the power or flow. It all blends and sounds good, just like life.

you are

You are not your age,
Or the size of clothes you wear,
You are not a weight,
Or the color of your hair,
You are  not your name,
Or the dimples in your cheeks,
You are all the books you read,
You are your croaky morning voice,
And the smiles you try to hide,
You're the sweetness in your laughter,
And every tear you've cried,
You're the songs you sing so loudly,
When you know you're all alone,
You're the places that you've been to,
And the one that you will call home,
You're the things that you believe in,
And the people that you love,
You're the photos in your bedroom,
And the future you dream of,
You're made of so much beauty,
But it seems that you forgot,
When you decided that you were defined,
By all things you're not.

2 hearts

We were given two hands to hold
Two legs to walk
Two eyes to see
Two ears to listen
But why only one heart?…

Because the other one was given to someone for us to find.
We find them and the heart bursts because of all the perfect love.
Nothings perfect but it could be.
Its there and its real.
